Here is Jane McLellan's Bookmark Cross. The cross design is from Grace Tan. I used hdt Rainbow Bright from Tatskool in size 20. The colors look much better than the picture indicates. This was a quick and easy cross to make. This will definitely be a go to cross that I make when I need a quick gift. I think in a solid color framed would be nice.
Happy tatting,

I love the bright colors for this great cross pattern!
Oh is that ever absolutely gorgeous!!! :) I need to try that pattern!!!
I love the rainbow colours. The bookmark was mine, but the cross design is Grace Tan's.
I've admired this pattern ever since I first saw it. It will soon become a classic! It was a very clever adaptation by Grace Tan, and I wish we knew more about her. The colors look just fine here. It seems to be a good pattern for variegated or solid threads!
Coming back to say I just found some info about Grace on the internet. She has a pinterest page and there's even a photo of her! Apparently she only started tatting in Dec 2011 and this cross is apparently one of her first designs (adapted from Jane's bookmark). Quite a nice start! I'm amazed at her drawing and her pattern, which she has generously shared! The internet is so great!
If the floors look better in person than in the picture, the cross must be absolutely gorgeous!!!
I really love the colors in the thread.
