Ovarian Cancer Awareness Ribbons

I tatted these awareness ribbons for two sweet friends of mine who lost their daughter/sister to Ovarian Cancer.  May is Ovarian Cancer Month.  They were so excited to get them.  I have tatted several of these ribbons in memory of 911 in red, white and blue, and yellow ones for soldiers.  As well as several in various shades of pink for Breast Cancer.  When I give them away, I usually replace the pearl earring with a small cross lapel pin.

Happy tatting,

Someday, I hope science progresses enough that we won't have any ribbons to tat. Until then, that is an incredible way of supporting your friends. Great work.

I posted a tatting piece on my Facebook page-
Facebook.com/tattingbox that is very similar to yours. Trust me, I just saw your piece, which is lovely and easier to tat than mine.
