Trinka Angel Challenge

The Guild that I am a member of issued a challenge to decorate the skirt of Terry McGuffin's Trinka angel. Check out the results.

Top row left by Sherron Mosley--added a beaded snowflake. Center by Mary Ann Pugh--added a letter "L" for Love, Live, and Laughter. Right by Adair Baker--added a snowflake charm. Bottom row left by me--I added a nativity adapted from Becky Dempsey's "Nativity". Center two by Sharon Thomas--added battenburg lace to both. Right by Elizabeth Birmingham--added a blue bird with a branch.

We all enjoyed the project and look forward to doing another project in the new year.

LOVELY! I've been meaning to do this angel but haven't gotten round to it!

The angels are heavenly! It always leaves me in awe that one pattern can be change so many ways. You and your fellow guide members did a great job! Thanks for sharing.

Very nice! I clicked on the picture to see the angels bigger before reading the second part of your post. I said to my husband, "hey look! That nativity is my pattern!" Then I went back & saw that it was the one you had done!

Yes, when we discussed the challenge, I could see a nativity in the skirt and thought your pattern would be ideal. I really like how it turned out. It shows up very nicely on my Christmas tree.
