Here is a bookmark I tatted from Cathy Bryant's TATTING
book using Lizbeth thread. I think the corner bookmark style is so neat. It was very easy. By the way, this book is out of print. But, if you find a copy--purchase it. It has lots of neat patterns. A great addition to your tatting library.
Wow. They really are nice. One more to add to my hunt for books!
This is a fun pattern!
That looks really nice on the corner.
Hey, is that the same corner bookmark that is included in the T.A.T. Apprentice Phase instruction booklet? It looks the same...but I don't have my booklet handy to double check the name.
If so, it is another source for the pattern, if you are not able to find the book for sale. (Not intended as a sales pitch for T.A.T. tatting proficiency program. But I do think it is a good program.)
Another great post. Thanks, JB! I just love reading your blog. And am so pleased that you are enjoying Tatting Tea Tuesdays.
Hey, if you are moderating your comments, please amend my previous note.
I have confirmed that the corner bookmark is INDEED the same pattern by Scottish tatter Cathy Bryant.
So, if you are looking for the pattern and cannot find her book, the T.A.T. Tatting Proficiency Program's Apprentice - Phase I guidebook is another source.
It really is a great pattern and your corner bookmarks are lovely!
Hi, JB. I am always working on Tuesdays, but I manage to catch your blog later in the day.
You win the prize for catalyst of the week! I found a copy of 'Tatting' that was not to expensive and ordered it! You are a great sales person! Fox : ))
Thanks. I am glad you found a copy.
JB, I need to amend my comment as well! I confused you with Isdihara and Tatting Tuesday! Sorry! Don't know how that happened! But, nevertheless, I am happy about the book. : )) Fox
