A Watermelon Egg

Motif Challenge #14 is egg #4 from the book.  It is tatted in Lizbeth's Juicy Watermelon size 20 with lime green   size 6 beads.  The colors are very pretty.  One thing about the eggs is that it is a fun way to try out threads.

I  had to have one of LadyShuttleMaker's ceramic mugs.  It is so pretty.  Too cool to have a mug with lace motifs all over.  I love coffee and love tatting--so it's the best of both.  Thanks Sherry for sharing your talent.

Here is motif challenge #13.  It is egg #2 from the TATTED EASTER EGG book.  Tatted in Lizbeth's Pink Parade using size 20.   This is a cute egg. The tree is turning out nice--getting close to a dozen.

Another Egg again

Here is Motif Challenge #12. It is egg #16 made from Lizbeth Pink Cocoa. But, I think of it as Jane Eborall's Pink Cocoa. I love the way this egg turned out. I usually avoid split chains, but I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Luckily the split chain landed in the brown section of the thread. So, imperfections are not as visible. Please don't look too close. I need to follow Fox and "practice, practice, practice". The actual design may have looked better in a solid color, but I like how it turned out. 3 Year Blogaversary Giveaway

Wow! Today is the three year anniversary of my blog. I can not believe it has been three whole years since I won Gina's PIF giveaway. The stipulations were that I had to post the PIF picture on my blog and offer a giveaway. In honor of the past three years and Gina Brummett's memory and inspiration, I am hosting a giveaway.

The winner will receive a package that includes a tatted piece plus more surprises. The traditional gift for a 3rd anniversary is leather and the modern gift is glass. Interesting.....
