Motif #3 is Egg #7 from TATTED EASTER EGGS by Kirsten Wind Hansen. Tatted in Lizbeth #115 Springtime and #680 Spring Green with size 6 spring colored glass beads. I was afraid that the beads were going to be too big, but they actually turned out pretty. So far, this is my favorite look.Happy tatting,

25 Motif Challenge

I decided to try the 25 motif challenge this year. I have always enjoyed following that blog and am always impressed by the beautiful pieces that participants create.

I began working my way through the "Tatted Easter Eggs" book by Kirsten Wind Hansen. Here is Motif #1. It is Egg #1 made in Lizbeth #127 Butterfly Breeze, size 20.

Day 6 of fun. Gosh, this segment made me use my critical thinking skills. To get it to work and look like the diagram, I reversed two of the split rings. Hope it doesn't cause me problems later.

Also, here is Jane's new tree ornament. I loved this tree when I saw it made with ribbon on sunshineyellow-stitches.blogspot.com. So when Jane made the tatted one, I was so excited and had to make one. This will be the Christmas ornament for all the ladies in my family this year. So far they have only received snowflakes.Happy tatting while waiting for day 5,

Happy New Year!

I want to wish you a Happy New Year. I hope that you have many blessings and complete numerous projects in your favorite craft.

Here are pictures of the wonderful SS packages that I received. I love all the goodies in both packages.
This is from Michelle Brewer Vitt, I enjoyed wearing the snowflake set so much and received lots of compliments. I have made the beaded angel now and it is too cute. It's ready for the Christmas tree next year. This is from Tami Drader. The snowflakes are beautiful. She made the prairie bag. It is so cool and perfect for tatting.
